Wedge Devolution
SHAPE- low wedge with sloped rear and Biohazard-style side and rear skirts COLOUR- sleek and shiny silver WEIGHT- about 100kg DIMENSIONS- 90cm X 78cm X 40cm SPEED- 16mph TURNING CIRCLE- 0 GROUND CLEARANCE- 0mm at the front, 7mm for the rest of the robot (without skirts), 0mm at all sides (with skirts) ARMOUR- 4mm Hardox WHEELS- inside robot, 4-wheel drive POWER- 2 X Lemcos WEAPONS- As usual, the main weapon is a rear-hinged flipper. This is very similar to Chaos 2, except the blade at the bottom is bent ala Bigger Brother, allowing the flipper to have greater effect against bots with skirts or low centres of gravity. The flipper itself is powered by 2 X 80mm high pressure pneumatic rams, each running at 250psi. This should allow Wedge Devo to comfortably flip up to 1 tonne. Also, the front blade can be exchanged for a "Nose"-style plate, approximately 15cm in length. This is used primarily for full-body spinners. SRIMECH- The flipper can right the machine easily and the rear wedge should hopefully prevent a Chaos-style "self-flip". Also, Wedge Devo is equipped with a grey semi-sphere on either side of robot to prevent it getting stuck on its side NOTES- flashing red light on top of robot, flies Scotland flag STRENGTHS- powerful flipper, fast, manoeuvrable, difficult to get underneath, tough armour, good traction WEAKNESSES- could prove a bit tricky to control, limited CO2 (like all other flippers)

Killotine: EVO
SHAPE- compact box shape with a front Storm 2-style wedge COLOUR- red WEIGHT- about 100kg DIMENSIONS- 100cm X 70cm X 35cm SPEED- about 16mph TURNING CIRCLE- 0m GROUND CLEARANCE- virtually 0mm at the front, 10mm at sides and back without skirts, 0mm at sides and back with skirts ARMOUR- 15mm polycarbonate top and bottom, 3.25mm Hardox armour at sides, front and back WHEELS- inside robot, 4WD POWER- 2 X LEM-130s WEAPONS- The main weapon is the large 180 degree pneumatic axe, very similar to that of Killerhurtz, which operates ala a rack-and-pinion system like Terrorhurtz. Running on 160psi, it really packs more than a punch and can very easily self-right the machine. Also, if anything should happen to the axe, then the robot can use the low Storm 2-style wedge and great pushing power to resort to a Tornado-style tactic – ram to death! SRIMECH- The axe. Even if it’s already been fired while flipped, the axe can right itself ala Killerhurtz, aided by a rounded back. Also, just like the original Killotine, the machine has a rounded back and a red semi-sphere on either side of robot to stop it landing on its side. NOTES- flies the Scotland flag, the new version of my 2nd ever Vapourbot, Killotine STRENGTHS- Fast, dangerous weapon, good amount of traction, difficult to get under, quick srimech, nice and fast WEAKNESSES- so-so turning
RECENT ADDITIONS: To aid in getting under its opponents, Killy now sports a small titanium plate attached to the wedge, running along the ground. At only 1mm thick, the 'spatula' is designed to make Killy much more effective against skirted bots. Also, the entire axe (the shaft, the Killerhurtz head and the swinging mechanism) is completely made of 3.5mm Hardox. Let's see you rip the hammer off NOW, guys!

SD IV
SHAPE- long invertible box with rounded sides and a triangular back (like Tornado, but goes to a fine point) COLOUR- dark blue WEIGHT- about 100kg DIMENSIONS- 100cm X 70cm X 25cm SPEED- 15mph TURNING CIRCLE- 0 GROUND CLEARANCE- virtually 0mm at the front thanks to the weapon, virtually 0mm at the sides and rear with skirts, about 7mm without ARMOUR- 4mm Hardox WHEELS- inside robot, 4-wheel drive POWER- 2 X C40-400 Magmotors at 36v. This gives about 8hp (same as Tornado) WEAPONS- The robot is armed with an electric horizontal Pussycat-style saw with 4 blades, spinning at about 2500rpm. What’s really different about this bot is that the disc is mounted at the very bottom of the robot (ala Battlebots Lightweight Code:Black) and is designed to tear up skirts and get under robots to their tyres. Also, on either side of the saw is a long, thin scoop to aid in sliding under any enemies. "But wait!" I hear you cry. "If the robot's flipped, the disc will be useless, right?" Wrong! Once flipped, SD IV can simply slide under the enemy with the scoop, shove them about the ring and continue slicing away at the armoury...if it's lucky, it could even rip the aerials off the lower machines! SRIMECH- SD IV can run perfectly happily upside-down, while the rounded sides and angled rear make sure the robot never rests on said sides NOTES- flies Scotland flag STRENGTHS- nippy, can kill skirts and tyres, tough armour, saw and skirts give protection from flippers, quite good manoeuvrability, greater pushing power, good control, will still work effectively without the scoop things WEAKNESSES- wheels can be vulnerable to crushers and axes
RECENT ALTERATIONS: The front scoops are now gone. Mainly because they're crap

Whirligig 4.0
SHAPE- flat disc COLOUR- deep yellow with Mauler-style scary face on top WEIGHT- about 100kg (see bottom) DIMENSIONS- 101.6cm diameter X 12.7cm SPEED- 15mph TURNING CIRCLE- 0 GROUND CLEARANCE- 4mm ARMOUR- 1.905 cm thick Grade 5 titanium FEET- inside robot, uses 4 DrillZilla-style shuffling plates. These help prevent the bot being flung halfway across the ring on contact with another bot, ala Typhoon POWER- 2 X S28-400s running on 36v. Uses 120 X NiCad cells at 36v, producing 12amps at 36v overall for drive and weapon power WEAPONS- the main weapon on Whirly 4.0 is a much improved spinning shell. Weighing in at 33.72kg overall, it's heavier than before and now boasts 9 Pussycat-style blades - 3 on the top, 3 in the middle and 3 on the bottom, so it can get some scars in nearly all opponents. The shell is now powered by 2 X LEM-130s running at 36v (these lie on their side, so they will fit comfortabely inside Whirly). These produce 2000rpm...and 183 kilojoules. This should be enough to completely obliterate another machine. Or worse. As well as this, the power in the shuffling feet mean that Whirly can act as a pretty powerful pusher if the shell fails to work SRIMECH- the robot is invertible and the blades prevent Whirly landing on his side NOTES- Mauler-style scary face on top and bottom which show direction of robot, flies Scotland flag, my first properly calculated machine STRENGTHS- fast, manoeuvrable, very deadly weaponry, tough armour, scary face shows its direction, very good traction, can't be flung away on impact as easily as Typhoon WEAKNESSES- so-so manoeuvrability, feet may prove vulnerable to crushers and axes
WEIGHT CHECK: armour = 33.72kg (inc blades) chassis, mounts, bracing etc = about 30kg drive and weapon motors = 12kg overall NiCads = about 15kg "feet" = about 10kg overall
TOTAL WEIGHT = 100.72kg. Fits right into the roller limit, with the 1% error margin rule.

Clawdius Decimus Murderous
SHAPE- wedge with small box section and high rear wedge COLOUR- deep green with shield emblazoned on the wedge WEIGHT- about 100kg DIMENSIONS- 95cm X 73cm X 70cm (including claw – 35cm without) SPEED- 13mph TURNING CIRCLE- 0m GROUND CLEARANCE- virtually 0mm at the front, 0mm at sides and rear thanks to skirts (arranged in a Biohazard fashion, corner-to-corner), 10mm without ARMOUR- 5mm Hardox WHEELS- inside robot, 4-wheel drive POWER- 2 X S28-300 MagMotors (thanks to Scott here) WEAPONS- The main weapon is the Razer-style crushing claw, operating at 3000psi (5000 if permitted in certain tournaments), with a nice little diamond-coated tip. Also at the front is a Firestorm-style blade and 2 small “spears” to aid in getting under the opposition. Combined with the crusher and the reasonably powerful 4WD, CDM can become an effective pusher/clamper SRIMECH- Like before, CDM uses a rear-hinged pneumatic arm on either side to self-right. The high-wedged rear also prevents the robot getting perched there NOTES- flies the Scotland flag, concept of name came from “Gladiator” (“My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius – father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife...but that’s when I phoned Claims Direct!”) STRENGTHS- Quite nippy, good traction, powerful weapon, difficult to get underneath, fast srimech WEAKNESSES- so-so manoeuvrability

Chameleon
SHAPE- simple box with removeable front section and removeable Biohazard-style skirts all round COLOUR- so d**n silver and shiny, you can see your face in it...ugly, innit? WEIGHT- about 100kg with the heaviest set-up DIMENSIONS- 80cm X 80cm X 30cm SPEED- 12mph TURNING CIRCLE- 0m, using a skid-steer system GROUND CLEARANCE- 0mm all round (with skirts & scoop), 10mm all round (minus skirts & scoop) ARMOUR- 4mm Grade 5 titanium WHEELS- inside robot, 4-wheel drive POWER- 2 X C40-500 Magmotors. This will run at 36v and produce about 12hp. WEAPONS- Just take your pick: (1) "The Anti-Flipper Device" - Flippers are most vulnerable when they're open. The idea I have is a very low front scoop (with flat spikes along the bottom to aid in sliding under others ala Barry) and a small 3000psi crushing arm (like a smaller version of Plunderbird 5's) The idea is that the flipper tries to get under and flick you over, it fails, then before the flipper shuts, you twirl round, slide under and crunch into the innards (2) "The Anti-Axe Device" - The set-up here is the scoop and crushing arm again, which will be used for sliding under the opposition and snapping the axe arms in two. I can also use this set-up to simply slide under the sides, grab hold and drag it around, since the axe won't be able to hit me (3) "The Anti-Vert Device" - This set-up is used against vertical spinning discs and consists of a small set of horizontal hydraulic jaws running at 3000psi. Made from about 3 mil Hardox, these are used for clamping onto the disc, allowing me to drag the offenceless opposition where I see fit (4) "The Anti-Horiz Device" - This set-up is used against vertical spinning discs and consists of another set of jaws, but these are very similar to Growler (with a Bigger Brother-style blade on the bottom jaw for sliding under the opposition). Also running at 3000psi and made from 3 mil Hardox, this wide jaw is designed to clamp onto the disc and once more allow me to drag the bot around the ring (5) "The Anti-Wheel Device" - This is used against robots which lack skirts and is a horizontal Pussycat-style saw mounted on the bottom of the bot (ala Code:Black). Spinning at 3000rpm, the blade can slide under the exposed ground clearances of these bots and tear the wheels to shreds. (6) "The Anti-Fodder Device" - This set-up is used against robots with weak(ish) armour and consists of the front scoop again, which leads up to a horizontal spinning blade. Powered by a B42-500 Magmotor at 60v, it is geared at 15:1 and can easily reach speeds of 2000rpm and quite easily take the weaker machines apart (7) "The Anti-Crusher Device" - This consists of several Hardox spikes (8 along each side, to be precise). Each prong is about 30cm long and are designed not only to keep the crushing arm away from the main body, but also to properly damage the opposition while ramming (8) "The Anti-Pusher Device" - This is a very basic set-up, as Chameleon will simply be armed with Biohazard-style skirts on all 4 sides. The idea is to "scoop" up the pusher on one of the skirts and to shove it around using my 12hp. (9) "The Anti-Obliteration Device" - This is used for the most horrible spinners like MDU and King Cholera and can also be used for axlebots if need be. The weaponry here consists of a static Behemoth-style scoop (made of 6 mil Hardox and with a Firestorm-style blade along the bottom) and a medium-sized set of Tough As Nails-style clamping jaws with small spikes on the inside for better grip (also made of 6 mil Hardox). The idea is that the spinner hits the thick scoop, the shell stops and the jaws are then able to grab hold of the machine. Then, the bot can be shoved and dragged wherever I see fit (that's the idea, anyway) SRIMECH- The machine uses a Firestorm-style flap on top to flick the robot back onto its wheels. Running on low pressure gas, the srimech will last for a long time before running out. Also, a semi-sphere on either side of the bot (made to look like the Chamelian's eyes ) prevents it getting beached on its side NOTES- flies Scotland flag STRENGTHS- interchangeable weapons, good armour, good control, good manoueverability, high pushing power WEAKNESSES- could prove weaker against stronger pushers

NAME- The Doomsday Project (HW) SHAPE- tall scooped front with a front Bigger Brother-style spatula, sloped sides and a steep wedged rear. Basically, think along the lines of La Machine or Tsunami with fixed skirts and you've got the jist of it COLOUR- deep black with a gleaming red eye on either side of the main weapon WEIGHT- 95.9kg. Weight check below DIMENSIONS- about 95cm X 75cm X 40cm SPEED- 15mph TURNING CIRCLE- 0m GROUND CLEARANCE- virtually 0mm at the front (due to the scoop and blade) and at the sides and rear (due to side skirts, 10mm underneath) ARMOUR- 4mm monocoque Hardox all over, including the skirts WHEELS- inside robot, 4 x custom aluminium wheels POWER- uses 2 x LEM-130s running on 36v for the main drive motors and 4 x 36v Battlepacks for batteries WEAPONS- The fun part. The key feature of the Doomsday Project is a large vertical disc sticking out of the scoop with holes drilled in to keep the weight down. Weighing about 20.4kg and composed of 4mm Hardox, the 50cm diameter flywheel has 2 teeth and is powered by a 36v LEM-170. It can reach top speeds of 3000rpm in approximately 4 seconds...and can produce round about 149kj. Ouch. Past cool, eh? SRIMECH- Down the rear wedge and stretching a little bit onto the top of the bot is a Cassius-style CO2 arm. Powered by 2 x 2.2kg CO2 fire extinguisher tanks, the 145psi buffer tank (1.1kg) can last for around 30-35 flips, which should be more than enough for self-righting in your average fight. If things get really bad as well, the arm can be used to flip robots attacking from the rear, before swinging around and bringing the disc into play. The sloped sides also prevent the 'bot being beached. NOTES- flies the Scotland flag. Also, written in red on the underbelly is "Today, Knothole. Tomorrow, the world!" STRENGTHS- VERY powerful weapon that's d**ned hard to damage, tough construction, good traction, fast & effective srimech, tricky to get under, pretty good control WEAKNESSES- so-so manoueverability

NAME- Tails (HW) SHAPE- a simple wedge with a sloping rear end COLOUR- orange with the fox's face looking particularly evil on the front slope WEIGHT- round about 100kg DIMENSIONS- about 100cm X 70cm X 35cm SPEED- 14mph TURNING CIRCLE- 0m GROUND CLEARANCE- virtually 0mm at the front (due to the wedge extender) and about 10mm elsewhere to aid manoueverability ARMOUR- 4.5mm Grade 5 titanium...with 2mm of orange fur on top of that WHEELS- inside robot, 2 x go-kart wheels POWER- 2 x C40-500 MagMotors at 36v, with a 10:1 reduction WEAPONS- Two main modes of attack here. On the front wedge is a forward-hinged flipping arm, similar in appearance to Cassius 2 or Firestorm. Powered by 2 x CO2 rams, this is just a bog-standard LP flipper, capable of round about 30 flicks per duel and is really there to act as a self-righter. You see, the key weapon of Tails can be found on the rear wedge - the tails themselves! Mounted at an angle (ala Warhead's dome) is an orange Alien-style spinning bar with a hammerhead on each end. The blade is powered by a B42-500 MagMotor at 60v and is geared down at 15:1, giving top speeds of roughy 2000rpm. I'd say that's pretty nasty, wouldn't you? SRIMECH- The flipper, as stated before. NOTES- flies the Scotland flag STRENGTHS- nippy, manoueverable, some nasty blades on the back, long-lasting flipper, pretty good armour WEAKNESSES- possible control problems, vulnerable to flipping, who's gonna take it seriously?
